Alana Foley's (formerly Alana Dulaney) research interests include the roles of environmental factors, executive functions, and spatial skills in learning, primarily in the domain of mathematics. How do executive functioning and environmental input interact in the context of learning? Can spatial processing be harnessed to facilitate mathematical problem solving and, if so, what impact might this have on working memory demands during problem solving?
